Do you miss going to the beach?
ビーチに行くにはまだ寒いですが、だんだん暖かい日が増えてきましたね。
今日はビーチにまつわる英語です。全部わかりますか？

high tide 満潮- when the ocean comes closer to the coast
jetty 防波堤- a large, rocky platform near the beach that goes out into the water
boardwalk 板張りの遊歩道- a wooden walkway leading to the beach
shore 海岸- the area where the sand meets the water
sandbar 砂州- a small sand island in the middle of the ocean
driftwood 流木 - pieces of wood that wash up onto the shore
trunks 男性用の水着- another word for swim shorts
sunscreen 日焼け止め- cream or spray to protect you from the sun
flip flops ビーチサンダル- sandals that you wear to the beach
sandcastle 砂の城- structures you make out of sand on the beaches
sunbathing 日光浴- lying down in the sun to relax/tan
